Volunteers can reset their own password by clicking the 'Forgot password?' link on the Sign In page. However, if you need to change the password for them, follow the steps below to reset a user's password manually.
Step 1.
Search for the user by clicking the magnifying glass in the upper right and typing their name. From the list, select the user.
Step 2.
Click the ellipsis button (...) in the upper right (next to the Edit button) and select "Change Password" from the menu that appears.
If you get a message that the password cannot be changed, it means the user created their account via a Social Media Sign In method, so they need to sign in with that same method. See this article for details.
Step 3.
Enter the new password in both the Password and Re-enter Password fields.
Step 4.
Click the Save button.
Leaving the box checked for 'Require this user to change their password when they first sign in' will require them to immediately reset their own password.
